Honorary Rector and Emeritus Professor

Prof. Dr. Ruslan Penchev has been honored with the title of Emeritus Professor at the International Business School as a token of gratitude and recognition for his dedication, creative inspiration, academic and teaching significance in the establishment of the International Business School, as well as for his long-standing contribution to its prosperity.

Prof. Dr. Ruslan Penchev is the Honorary Rector of IBS and a professor of project management. He holds a doctoral degree in Information Systems Management from the Technical University of Sofia and a master’s degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Prague, Czech Republic. His research interests lie in the fields of project management, managerial information systems, the application of informatics in economics and management, security management, education management, quality management and standardization, and human resources management. He has over 25 years of experience in industry development projects and management consulting, and over 12 years in developing management programs and business education and training, particularly through distance and open learning methodology.
