The International Business School of Bulgaria (IBSB) participated in the prestigious World Education Fair, held over the weekend at the Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia. The event was organized by the educational consultancy agency Integral.

The IBSB booth drew significant interest from students, parents, and prospective applicants who had the opportunity to learn more about the university’s current academic programs and development opportunities. Among the highlights were some of the most modern and in-demand majors:

  • Business Administration and Applied Psychology – a multidisciplinary program combining economic logic with behavioral sciences, leadership, and human resource management;
  • Business Administration and Entrepreneurship – a program focused on innovation, launching, and managing one’s own business, with an emphasis on developing entrepreneurial thinking and creative business models;
  • Digital Marketing – a program oriented towards contemporary communication strategies, social media, online branding, and consumer behavior in the digital environment;
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Business – an innovative program that combines business administration with the practical application of artificial intelligence and automation in business processes;
  • Project Management – ocused on strategic and operational project leadership in corporate and entrepreneurial environments, emphasizing practical skills and international standards.

A key figure in the university’s presentation was Hristina Tsonkova, Manager of International Student Admissions and Marketing at IBSB, who introduced visitors to the university’s international orientation and strategic partnerships with universities across Europe and around the world. “It was a great pleasure for us to meet our future students face to face. We noticed a growing interest in our business programs as well as in the opportunity to study in a multicultural environment. More and more young people are looking for a combination of quality education and global career opportunities. IBS offers exactly that – strong academic education, real practical skills, and international exchange that prepares students for the global job market,” said Hristina Tsonkova.

Particularly inspiring for visitors was the participation of Ivana Gyurova, Chair of the Student Council at IBSB, who shared her personal experience as a student at the university. She spoke about the active and dynamic student community, the opportunities for participation in student initiatives, international projects, and events organized by and for students. “It was an honor for me to present the student perspective of IBSB. I believe the best way to understand what a university offers is to hear about someone’s firsthand experience. I shared with future students how IBS creates an environment where leaders and professionals are developed,” said Ivana Gyurova after the event.

The exhibition provided an excellent platform for building new partnerships and exchanging best practices with other educational institutions. IBS’s participation was part of its long-term strategy to establish itself as a leading choice for business education in Bulgaria and the region.

The next informational event for students will be the Open Doors Day at IBSB, which will take place on April 10, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the IBSB campus in Sofia.
