We are incredibly proud to share the outstanding participation and performance of 11 of our students in the international Blended Intensive Programme (BIP), held from May 12–16, 2025, in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The programme was organized by GEA College – Faculty of Entrepreneurship under the theme “Food of the Future: A Business Model for Preventing Food Waste” and was part of the Erasmus+ initiative.

The participants included first- and second-year students from the following degree programmes:

The programme combined a virtual learning component with a five-day on-site intensive mobility experience, featuring:

  • Lectures and workshops on sustainable entrepreneurship
  • Development of innovative business models for preventing food waste
  • Teamwork in international groups
  • Site visits to best practices in Ljubljana
  • An inspiring final pitch presentation before a jury

Our students stood out with their dedication, creativity, and professionalism, receiving high praise from organizers, mentors, and their international peers. They not only showcased solid knowledge and skills but also built new friendships and partnerships that will undoubtedly leave a lasting mark on their academic and personal journeys.

International intensive programmes like this one offer an excellent opportunity for professional and personal growth, hands-on experience with real-world challenges, intercultural exchange, and a true “Erasmus experience.”.

The International Business School of Bulgaria (IBSB) actively develops and supports Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) both as a coordinator and as a sending institution. We firmly believe that, together with our students and faculty, we are unlocking the limitless opportunities for learning, collaboration, and inspiration that these intensive formats provide.
