IBS Participates in the Career Forum at the Private Vocational High School “SoftUni BUDITEL” – A Dialogue on Education and Professional Development
The International Business School took an active part in the “Teenspiration 2025” Career Forum, organized by the Private Vocational High School for Digital Sciences “SoftUni BUDITEL.” Representing IBS at the event were Hristina Tsonkova – Manager of International Affairs and Marketing – and Ivana Gyurova, a second-year student in the “Business Administration and Applied Psychology” program and Chair of the IBS Student Council.
The forum took place at the high school’s campus and brought together representatives from education, business, and various organizations around a common goal – to show young people the opportunities that await them both in higher education and in their future careers. The representatives from IBS took part in the opening ceremony and spent the Friday engaging in exciting conversations with students and prospective applicants from the school.

Hristina Tsonkova shared that such events are extremely valuable because they provide a direct connection with students who are in the process of making important life decisions. “It’s always inspiring to meet so many young people who are enthusiastically searching for their path and are eager to learn what we can offer them at IBS. They asked questions, showed genuine interest, and wanted to understand the opportunities our programs provide—both in Bulgaria and abroad through our international exchange initiatives.”
Particularly inspiring was the participation of Ivana Gyurova, who, as a current student, had the opportunity to speak directly with the high schoolers—not only as a representative of the university but also as someone who was in their shoes not long ago. “I’m proud and grateful to represent the International Business School at an institution like SoftUni BUDITEL,” Ivana shared. “For me, it’s incredibly important to share my experience with students who are still unsure about which path to take. I was once in that position myself, and I know how valuable it is to hear a story from someone who has already walked that road. Seeing a spark of interest—and sometimes even inspiration—in their eyes is truly priceless.”
Throughout the day, Ivana and Hristina spoke with numerous students—from high school seniors who already have a clear vision for their future to eighth graders who are just beginning to explore their career paths. There was strong interest in the opportunities offered by IBS, especially in programs such as: “Business Administration” tought in English, “Digital marketing”, “International Business” and “Business Administration and Apply Psychology”. Many of the students were impressed by the opportunities for studying at partner universities abroad and by the flexible programs that allow for professional development even during their studies. IBS’s participation in the Career Forum at the Private Vocational High School “SoftUni BUDITEL” is yet another testament to the university’s commitment to being an active part of the educational community and to encouraging young people in their pursuit of knowledge and growth.
Through direct engagement with students—both current and prospective—IBS continues to build trust, inspire, and support the next generation of leaders.
