The Graduation Ceremony of the Class of 2025 Full of Emotion
The International Business School celebrated one of the most exciting and meaningful moments in its academic calendar—the graduation ceremony of the Class of 2025. The formal diploma-awarding ceremony for graduating bachelor’s and master’s students took place in Aula “Manga,” turning into a true celebration of knowledge, effort, and dreams.
The event was officially opened by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ivan Andreev, Vice-Rector of IBS, who congratulated the graduates with inspiring words, wishing them courage and success on their new professional journeys.
“We believe in you, because you have shown that with perseverance, motivation, and an academic spirit, nothing is impossible. So go boldly forward, and may the light of knowledge you’ve gained here inspire you to fulfill your dreams and give you the strength to create the future you deserve,” said Assoc. Prof. Andreev.
A special moment during the ceremony was the address by the Rector, Prof. Dr. Georgi Apostolov, who, on behalf of Mrs. Lena Gaydarska, President of IBS, the university’s team, and personally himself, congratulated the graduates and their families, friends, and loved ones..
“Dear graduates, I wish you confidence—in yourselves, in the meaning of your endeavors, and in the possibility of a better future. I wish you courage—to try, to change, not to give up, but to prove yourselves. I wish you wisdom—to distinguish what is important from what is transient, good from convenient, false from true. And above all, I wish you satisfaction—from your work, from your life, from the path you’ve chosen and the one ahead,” said Prof. Dr. Georgi Apostolov.
“Dear parents, relatives, and friends, this celebration is yours too. Without your support, love, patience, and belief, this day would not be the same. I thank you from my heart for standing beside your children along this journey—sometimes long, sometimes challenging, but today filled with happiness and pride well-deserved,” the Rector added.
In his speech, Prof. Apostolov emphasized the significance of the graduates’ achievements, shared valuable thoughts about the path ahead, and delivered a message of confidence, determination, and responsibility towards the future: “You have demonstrated your ability to overcome challenges, to grow, to learn, and to dream. Your diploma is proof that you are ready to find new solutions, create new opportunities, and inspire by your example. Believe in yourselves as much as we believe in you. Today marks the end of one chapter of your life and the beginning of another. You are ready to embark upon this new journey—with knowledge, confidence, and ambition.”
The Rector also drew attention to contemporary global trends such as digitalization, sustainable technologies, and artificial intelligence, highlighting the unprecedented opportunities they offer for development and innovation. He underlined that the graduates’ most valuable assets are their knowledge, intrinsic motivation, and adaptability.
The Class of 2025 symbolizes resilience, ambition, and creativity. These young professionals navigated dynamic years filled with changes and challenges, emerging stronger, wiser, and better prepared to leave their mark on the world.
