Open Day at IBSB – A Journey into the World of Business and Knowledge

On March 18, 2025, dozens of curious and hungry for knowledge young people, along with their parents, joined the Open House Day at the International Business School in Bulgaria. They had the opportunity to learn about IBSB’s programs, the opportunities offered for professional development, participate in actual lectures, and experience the academic environment firsthand.

Hristina Tsonkova, Manager of “International Student Admissions and Marketing,” welcomed the guests and shared valuable insights about the opportunities the university provides. She emphasized that choosing the right higher education is a key step toward a successful career. IBSB holds the highest accreditation rating among all private universities in Bulgaria, which reflects the quality of education and the professional success of its graduates. Hristina highlighted that, beyond theory and practice, students at IBSB build strong professional networks and valuable connections. She also noted that IBSB partners with leading companies that offer internships and job opportunities during students’ studies. Furthermore, the diplomas issued by IBSB are internationally recognized, giving students a broader range of career prospects worldwide.

Tiana Doncheva, a student in “Business Administration and Project Management” and Vice President of the Student Council at IBSB, inspired prospective students by sharing her experiences, successful projects, and the support she receives from the IBSB community. She later led a campus tour, during which visitors explored the facilities and learned about the Student Council and various extracurricular activities organized by students.

Prospective students attended lectures, gaining insight into the teaching methods and educational process at IBSB. Our students shared their experiences regarding academic adaptation, accommodation options, and international exchange programs. Guests discovered that at IBSB, learning is not only rigorous but also fosters lifelong friendships. Each visitor received a personalized consultation about the different programs, key skills they would acquire, career opportunities after graduation, and the application process.

At the end of the event, participants shared their impressions. Many stated that the visit exceeded their expectations, and they felt fully confident in their choice of university. They could already envision themselves sitting in the university halls in September, studying for exams, and discussing new ideas with their peers. They were assured that at IBSB, they would gain knowledge and skills highly sought after in the job market. They concluded that education at IBSB goes beyond theory, providing real opportunities for practical application.
