Successful activity in international markets requires a good understanding of the political, legislative, economic, social and cultural characteristics of countries, the behavior of local consumers, the powers and requirements of state authorities, the characteristics of the media, the rights and obligations of membership in integration communities such as the European Union, as well as the business practices of major competitors. For a small country like Bulgaria, the export and import of goods and all other forms of international business have a leading role in the successful development of the economy and the well-being of the people.

The aim of the International Business program is to give you the knowledge and skills to carry out international business operations with business partners outside of our country.

In international business, you will need to analyze international markets, which are more dynamic and riskier than those on the national market, to choose the methods of market entry, to choose a trading process, to grant manufacturing and sales rights through licenses and franchising, joint production or direct foreign investment. You will apply the acquired knowledge and skills in the field of international law, international finance, international market conjuncture, international management and marketing, foreign language communication.

The International Business program meets international standards for education and qualification in the field of international economics and business. The quality of education is ensured by competent academic teachers and highly qualified business representatives. This is a guarantee for successful professional realization of the graduates. The mission of IBS is to create competitive specialists on a national and international level. Interactive methods are used in the learning process, combined with multimedia presentations, discussions, course projects, case studies, etc. The successful practices, models and problems of Bulgarian and international companies are studied.
