AIM AND SCOPE

This conference proceedings is the result of the XVIII International Interdisciplinary Scientific Conference on “Economic growth, business perspectives, market positioning in time of crisis” The conference serves as a forum for scholars in the fields of social sciences, natural sciences, engineering, and humanities to present their latest research findings, developments, and applications. It aims to facilitate discussions on innovative trends in all areas of economic growth, business perspectives, market positioning in time of crisis

Изискванията към оформление на ръкописите, подавани към изданието „Устойчиво развитие – кръгова икономика, критични инфраструктури, зелен преход“ са разработени в съответствие със стандарт БДС ISO 690-2021 (Harvard system). В настоящите примери се използва последователна система от препинателни знаци и типографко оформление.

Издателството на МВБУ и редакционната колегия на сборник „Икономически растеж, бизнес перспективи, пазарно позициониране в условията на криза“ следват насоките на Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) за добри практики в публикационния процес. Издателството на МВБУ подканва своите автори да се запознаят с указанията на Европейската асоциация на научни редактори, свързани с представяне на изследователски данни по пол – SAGER Guidelines.

За авторите:

• В сборника с доклади „Устойчиво развитие – кръгова икономика, критични инфраструктури, зелен преход“ на МВБУ се приемат доклади, които са предназначени и насочени единствено към него.
• С изпращането на ръкописа авторът/авторите се задължават да декларират възможен конфликт на интереси.

Подготовка и оформяне на ръкописите:

РАЗДЕЛ I: Оформяне на разширено резюме 

Разширеното резюме се изпраща само на английски език.

РАЗДЕЛ II: Оформяне на доклад

1. При оформяне на ръкописа се използват стандартни текстообработващи програми.
2. Размерът на докладите за Conference proceedings не трябва да надвишава 15 стандартни страници.
3. При наличието на графики, таблици и други илюстрации те се отразяват в текста и също така се подават като приложение в подходящ и четим формат за дигитални изображения (.png или .jpeg).
4. Не се поощрява специфично текстово форматиране (подчертаване, използване на булети или табулиране), освен при оформление на таблици и други релевантни графики.
5. Първата страница от ръкописа трябва да съдържа следната задължителна информация за автора на български и английски език: име и фамилия на автора (авторите), персонален научен идентификатор на автора (ORCID ID), институционална принадлежност, адрес за кореспонденция, е-мейл адрес.
6. Втората страница на ръкописа започва със следната информация на български и английски език: заглавие на ръкописа, резюме до 150-200 думи, номер на научната област от JEL класификацията, 3 до 6 ключови думи.

Литература/References

• Ако основният текст не е на латиница в този раздел се обособяват два параграфа с изписване на използваната литература в оригинал и втори раздел на латиница (References). За тази цел източниците на кирилица могат да бъдат транслитерирани.
• Използването на транслитерация се допуска в случай, когато в оригиналния източник на кирилица не е посочено официално заглавие на английски език.
• Транслитерацията на източници се осъществява на базата на действащия стандарт БДС ISO 9:2001.

This document is based on and follows the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) for good practices related to ethical issues and rules to prevent misconduct in the publishing process.
The document regulates the basic duties and responsibilities of the publisher, editors, editorial boards, independent reviewers, and authors.

The peer review procedure is an essential part of the publishing process that contributes to maintaining a high research quality of the published papers.

All of the manuscripts that meet the Author’s Guidelines requirements go through double blind peer review procedure by independent reviewers.

The Editorial Board selects the reviewers based on their professional experience and expertise.

Reviewers must

• have a PhD;
• indicate official affiliation (university, research institute, RPO)
• provide a researcher’s digital identifier (ORCID ID or Researcher ID, Scopus ID, RISC number) with a complete profile, incl. publication activities and expertise. 

Reviewers responsibilities

• the reviewers agree to perform an objective, timely and transparent evaluation of the manuscript, strictly following the standards, flowcharts and guidelines by COPE, the Author’s Guidelines and the Publisher’s Code of Ethics.
• by accepting a manuscript the reviewer undertakes to observe the anonymity of procedure, not to distribute or reproduce in any form the manuscript submitted for a review.
• to timely declare any potential conflict of interest or competing interest.
• to immediately notify the Editorial Board and the Editor-in-Chief if the reviewer finds a conflict of interest that was not present or determinable at the time of the peer-review procedure started and can potentially affect the objective evaluation of the manuscript.
• to notify in timely manner the Editorial Board or the Editor-in-Chief in case the peer-review procedure cannot be completed within the pre-set deadline.
• Reviewers are not expected to assess the manuscript for grammatical mistakes, but to focus on quality, scientific contribution and overall style of the research.

Procedure

(1) Upon agreeing to review a manuscript, the reviewer agrees to send the completed review within the time-frame set by the Editor/Editorial Boards Member.

(2) The reviewers receive the manuscript prepared for double-blind peer review procedure and a review form.

(3) After the review’s completion the peer reviewer sends the completed review form to the following email: conference2023@ibsedu.bg

(4) The review is considered accepted when the reviewer receives an email from the Editor verifying the review was done – “review receipts”.

Our editorial team firmly believes that the peer reviewing activities are essential part and one of the most important processes in publishing.
